ya I cant wait eithier, and i herd something about being able to salvage gems from the jeweled daggers and I have one pair but forgot where to farm them any word on that?

Think about this. Maximum party size for elite missions is 12, so unless they allow you to form groups in Chantry with 12 people there will be a town inside this new area. So that could mean after one entrance we will have access to it. Or perhaps it will work like the previous ones where we are taken to a mission outpoust which doesn't seem to be the case. Also if this area will be giving us another hero I don't doubt that we will be able to use them in the elite mission.

Yes i think i did misunderstand your comments, which i checked again in my Edit to the post as well.

However, i dont think having the Favor requirement with a option to access for those without favor by defeating abaddon would be a good idea as it just adds unneccessary limits on how you should be able to access an area you already qualify for by beating the game.

To give you an example, how would you like it if you will only be able to access your guildhall freely when your region has favor, but with the option of entering it by defeating the lich/shiro/abaddon if your region dont have favor, and seening that you have already paid for it?

So you can develop a powerful solo build and send the heroes/henchies away, getting all the best drops from the end of the mission (if it's factions styled)?

Have you guys ever looked in ur material storage there happens to be a diamond slot and if u cheak rare materail trader he doesnt have it, mabye that will be in the update

Diamonds are in the game, the trader doesn't have any as stock is limited and they are rapidly purchased. It's possible they will be a more common drop inside.

Wrong, diamonds have no use! The Scribe lied: They are not used in Armor Crafting.

Therefore, no one is trading contracts in order to buy them!

What Avarre mentioned is a possiblity and has been used ingame currently to "clear" the way to the boss then proceeding to solo the boss in hopes of having higher chances of obtaining the drop of interest. Though i heard of the idea but i am not sure if it works as described since i had not tried it myself.

Then again, are we saying just because players are smart enough to use their heros creatively to increase their odds of success, we should curb them and place limitations on other player choices of play as well?

To me having Heros or henchman in the Elite mission matters little, since i would prefer to try it out with guildies but for those not fortunate enough to have enough friends to form a party of 12 would of course then have to either go and learn to play the new cookie cutter classes to get into even low LB rank grps or go farm/afk 50k LBPs for rank 8 Lightbringer gaze?

Wasnt Heros Introduced in the first place so that players arent forced to play a class that are only popular in cookie cutter PuGs and play the game normally with their class of choice with either their heros+hencies or 2 friends+(3X2) heros ?

If my memory serves me well, i remember having read the PC gamer Nov issue and had the impression that Heros will be able to accompany them into the Elite mission. (please feel free to correct me as i dont have the mag with me atm) But keeping in mind also that things may change over the course of time.

I've personally been trading all of my contracts for diamonds, and constantly check for diamonds for sale at rare trader.

Ya there's no use for them atm, it's guaranteed there will be and it is wise to stock up on these gems just like it was wise to stock up on the original gem types.
